Why did you choose this name for your beach bar?
Brasserie Schildia has been an established name on the seafront in Heist for 40 years. Four years ago it was extended with a beach bar in conjunction with the sports beach of the Knokke-Heist sports department.
What makes your beach unique?
We operate the beach bar and provide sports equipment. The beach is equipped with a football pitch and volleyball and badminton nets. During the summer daily sports activities are organised free of charge and with expert support, as well as prominent events such as the beach run and sea swimming. We offer the ideal combination of beach bar and sports/beach ambiance.
What should visitors to the beach definitely sample in your establishment?
A refreshing gin and tonic, sangria or Mojito.
