Why did you choose this name for your beach bar?
Siesta Beach has been in operation for 25 years and in days gone by it used to sport a logo showing a man wearing a large sombrero having a Spanish ‘Siesta’. Even after all these years it is still the place to spend some leisure time, find peace and enjoy the sun paddling in the water with a drink in hand. Would you rather have a game of boules on our pétanque court? It has been the place to forge friendships for many years. Hospitality and pure enjoyment are the key to what we offer. Our motto: ‘Beach therapy’!
What makes your beach unique?
Our strength lies in the many years of experience. We are familiar with what is really important and know exactly what people expect when spending a day at the seaside. Ours has been a family business for many years. Many of our customers have watched our beach club grow and that creates a bond.
What should visitors to the beach definitely sample in your establishment?
Every winter we source the best available rosé wines that perfectly complement the exuberance of summer. We also have an extensive cocktail menu, which is updated weekly with specials.
