Why did you choose this name for your beach bar?

“Sun” and “sand” are an integral part of a carefree day at the seaside. That was our vision when we started the business 9 years ago … and how “Zonnestrand” came to be.

What makes your beach unique?

We have opted for a quiet, clean beach with ample space between the various sun beds. We offer peace and quiet after a week of hard work or a carefree holiday without lots of noise, relaxation is the key! We purposely decided not to install any large play equipment. Back to basics! Our terrace offers designer armchairs where you can enjoy a drink, background music or a sports event on TV.

What should visitors to the beach definitely sample in your establishment?

On the terrace our range of different beers and soft drinks. We also offer a selection of more than 20 freshly prepared cocktails and juices. Why not enjoy a glass of bubbly (cava or champagne) with a few tapas. Our “Mediterranean” or “Maison” tasting platters are highly recommended!
