Corona measures in Knokke-heist 

What you need to know 

  • Respecting the basic principles remains central:

    • Wear your face mask

    • Hygiene measures remain essential

    • Outdoor activities should be prioritised wherever possible

    • additional precautions must be taken for people belonging to a high-risk group.

    • the safety distance of 1.5 m is the norm. 
       

  • The current requirement to wear a face mask, for example on public transport and in the medical and non-medical contact professions is maintained
     

  • Face mask requirement is extended to indoor areas of:

    • Shops and shopping centres

    • Care institutions

    • Publicly accessible areas of companies, government buildings, courthouses

    • Facilities for cultural, festive, sports, recreational activities, including theatres, concert halls, cinemas, museums, indoor amusement and theme parks, indoor fitness centres and sports centres

    • Libraries, game and multimedia libraries

    • Places of worship
       

  • Face mask is mandatory for everyone over the age of 10. 
     
  • Covid Safe Ticket will become mandatory troughout all catering industry and fitness centres. Also wear your face mask. 
     

  • Catering activities:

    • The maximum number of people per table is limited to six. An entire household can share a table, regardless of size.

    • Only table seating is allowed.

    • Opening hours are limited from 5am to 11pm.

The measures above will take effect on Saturday 27 November.

Where can you get tested? 

  • Self-test: for sale at most pharmacies.
  • Antigen test: at various pharmacies in Knokke-Heist
  • PCR test:
    • AZ Zeno Knokke-Heist
      • On Saturday and Sunday: drive-in from 9.30 am till 10.30 am
    • In the testing and triage centre in Bruges (B-Park)
