FASHION EXPO ELLE FASHION WEEK KNOKKE-HEIST

It’s no secret that fashion and culture are inextricably intertwined. This is the theme for the exhibition in the Tourist Office welcome area, carefully curated by window display specialist Gillian Vanhoenacker. An interactive interlacing of fashion and culture, it draws upon the vast medley on offer in Knokke-Heist. Step inside a tantalising world of fashion, with photos from fashion photographers’ artistic projects and iconic cover images from ELLE Belgium that are sure to spark your imagination.
Be wowed by colourful works from fashion photographer Carmen Kemmink’s artistic project ‘In De Wolken’ (In The Clouds), a captivating photo series with a nod to celebrated artist René Magritte.
The central fashion platform will be showcasing the latest creations from Belgian fashion houses. Famous for their excellent craftsmanship, luxury materials and eye for detail, they are revered the world over. Discover a selection from Morobé’s high-end shoe collection, before being dazzled by an impressive silhouette from fashion house NATAN. Delvaux has loaned us an elegant creation for the occasion too, a true artwork around your arm. You’ll also find a selection of objects from the SCAPA HOME collection, renowned for their timeless design and use of natural materials.
Then dive into Belgian fashion photographer Dirk Alexander’s new artistic project, striking a pose in front of the ‘Ok! But first Coffee’ Instawall. Share your favourite photo on social media via #myKH, before resuming your stroll through the fashion paradise of Knokke-Heist and savouring its gastronomic delights and lush green nature.
