Zeezwemmen Knokke-Heist

On Friday, July 12th, the sports department of Knokke-Heist organizes sea swimming at the sports beach of Heist. Participants can choose between 500m and 1,500m distances. The 500m race for 16-year-olds starts at 6:45 p.m., and for under 16-year-olds at 6:55 p.m.

Pre-registration and automatic payment are possible until July 8th via zeezwemmenknokkeheist.be. For pre-registration for the 500m and 1,500m, the fee is €5. On-site registration costs €8. On-the-day registrations for the 500m are possible until 6:15 p.m., and for the 1,500m until 6:45 p.m. Each sea swimmer will receive a medal and a drink at the finish line at the Heist sports beach.

The competition is supervised by the coastguard. Rescue boats and sea kayaks accompany each event.
