RESERVED PARKING SPACES

Only disabled people with a ‘blue card’ are permitted to use disabled parking spaces. The card is personal and may only be used when you are using the vehicle yourself. You must place your card on the dashboard in the front of the vehicle, with the wheelchair symbol clearly visible. You can recognise a reserved parking space by the wheelchair symbol and the blue marking on the ground, as well as the blue parking sign with the wheelchair symbol.

Each municipality decides for itself how many reserved parking spaces are available, where they are located and whether there is a charge for using them. See the Knokke-Heist parking regulations. This page is only in Dutch.

NAVIGATION AND PARKING

Visit www.navigeerenparkeer.be (in Dutch only) for an overview of all reserved parking spaces in West Flanders. You can search by municipality, dimensions and position.

The reserved parking spaces can also be added to TomTom, Garmin and Mio GPS devices as a ‘point of interest’.
