Competition rules: 'Win a game of minigolf for the kids'

For the past year, there has been a new way for you to discover Knokke-Heist. We have come up with exciting cycling and walking routes based on popular social media: a TikTok, an Instagram, and a LinkedIn route. They were recently updated, and what is more, two more routes were added: a Snapchat and a Strava route! To get you on the right track, we have set aside a stunning 100 tickets for the crazy TikTok challenge at one of the four minigolf courses in Knokke-Heist! Fill in the competition entry form, sign up for the newsletter (optional) and who knows, you might just win minigolf tickets for your kids.

1. HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION?

It’s so easy: just fill in your email address on the competition form and answer the questions.
Tick the box to receive the newsletter. This is optional and does not affect your chances of winning.

2. COMPETITION DATES

The competition starts on Wednesday 16 June 2021 (12 am) and ends on Sunday 18 July 2021 (11.59 pm). Submissions before this start date and time or after the end date and time are not eligible for the competition. The winners will be notified in person on Monday 19 July 2021.

3. COMPETITION PRIZES

There are 100 tickets to give away. Each winning participant receives two tickets. In other words, a total of 50 participants will receive a prize.

These tickets can be used for a game of minigolf for children up to 12 years old. There are tickets for Minigolf Club Marie Siska, Minigolf Zoute, Minigolf Duinbergen and Minigolf Chalet Suisse. The winners cannot choose the golf course: the tickets are distributed randomly among the winning participants.

4. HOW IT WORKS

A ‘participant’ means someone who fills in the competition form on the website www.myknokke-heist.be or fills in the competition form on the Knokke-Heist Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Knokke-Heist).
All the participants’ data is collected. Fifty winners will be chosen at random. These winners will receive two admission tickets each for a minigolf course in Knokke-Heist. 

The winners will be personally notified on Monday, 19 July 2021. If a winner has not responded to the message before 26 July, another winner will be chosen.
The competition prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits in kind. They are not transferable to third parties and cannot be exchanged for their monetary value under any circumstances.
In the event of irregularities – such as errors that occur on the side of the website builder or programmer –Tourist Office Knokke-Heist shall decide autonomously on how to correct and deal with the error. No correspondence or telephone conversations shall be entered into regarding these competition rules.

5. ORGANISATION

This competition is organised by Tourist Office Knokke-Heist, Zeedijk 660 8300 Knokke-Heist, BE0409780062, hereinafter referred to as the ‘organisers’.

6. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

In principle, anyone aged 18 or over at the time of the competition can participate in this competition set up by the organisers.
Any minors who participate must ask for and receive permission from their parents.
Anyone who is declared the winner of a competition but does not fulfil all the conditions for participation in full automatically loses their right to the competition prize, without the right to compensation or redress. Each person can only participate once.

7. LIABILITY

The organisers of this competition cannot be held liable in the event that the competition has to be changed or cancelled due to exceptional circumstances. The organisers also rule out any liability for damage that may be caused by their error, except for the non-fulfilment of obligations that constitute one of the main subjects of this contract.

8. PERSONAL DATA

Tourist Office Knokke-Heist will primarily use the personal data provided to be able to provide the participants with the requested service or information and to continue to inform them of its activities, and possibly also for statistical and direct marketing purposes.
Participants have the right to view their personal data and to have them corrected if they are wrong. To exercise this right, it is sufficient to contact the organisers at the following email address: toerisme [at] knokke-heist.be.

9. DISPUTES

Only the courts of Bruges are authorised to hear any disputes that may arise, without prejudice to the consumer’s right to bring the case before the court of their place of residence. The courts will rule on the basis of Belgian law.
